Setlist 11/11/2011

My 11/11 show went by spectacularly. The highlight without a doubt was the sneak preview of The Front Bottoms in-studio performance at 90.3 The Core, set to air this Sunday, 11/13, at 1PM. I played the song “Mountain,” one of my favorite songs off their new album. If you dig The Fromt Bottoms then I strongly recommend that you check out the performance; it was a great time for all involved. Other highlights of the show included my unusual format: the show, with just a few exceptions, was all taken out of 90.3 The Core’s playlist. That means you got the best of new music that we have here at The Core. One of the highlights was “Folklore” by Opeth, from their new album Heritage. The song is impossibly jazzy and cool with traditional Opeth song structures. The album is definitely a different direction for the band, but I think they pulled it off nicely. Here’s the setlist:
