Art For Art’s Sake Setlist 8/24/2011

I premiered three new songs last night, freshly added to The Core’s playlist. You heard Finnish hardcore punk band Unkind with their thrashy song “Laumeiselut,” off their new record Harhakuvat. Fast and brutal. I also played the new Anthrax song “Fight ‘Em ‘Till You Can’t” off their upcoming record Worship Music. This is sure to be a huge album, as original Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna has returned to the band. It’s their first new record since 2003. Last but not least, I premiered a track by the band 400 Blows, who play jaunty, angular post-hardcore that screams of Drive Like Jehu. Expect to hear that record more than a few times on Art For Art’s Sake in the upcoming months. Here’s the complete list:
